Job Summary:
Dunns Food and Drinks Ltd have a new opportunity for a Sales & Warehouse Administrator for a busy foodservices depot in Altens Industrial Estate, Aberdeen (South).

You will be part of a team supporting our ever-expanding operations across the country. Organisation skills are essential for this role, as you will be involved in the co-ordination and delivery of sales, as well as booking in and managing the availability of stock at the depot.

Key Dimensions:
This role is incredibly varied and you will enjoy being involved across a variety of business areas providing support to directors and managers.  You should be proficient across MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint, and able to prioritize and organize your own work load.

This role is based on a 35 hour week pro/rata between the hours of 6am and 3pm, Monday-Friday.

Job Opportunity - Warehouse (Night Shift)

Hours:
Standard hours are based on 40 hours Sun-Thurs or Mon-Fri 10pm-7am

Job Summary
As a member of our warehouse team, you could be involved in a wide variety of tasks, from replenishing stock to picking and packing customer orders, assisting drivers with deliveries to maintaining depot standards.

Key Dimensions
It's a busy and physically demanding role - you will be on your feet, moving and lifting stock - working as part of the team to ensure targets and deadlines are met, so we're looking for people with lots of energy and that are up for a challenge!

You'll also need great timekeeping skills, an enthusiastic and adaptable approach to carrying out duties and a flexible approach to working hours. You'll be a valuable member of the Warehouse team, contributing to the success of the business whilst working with a great team of people and hopefully having some fun along the way.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring all goods are picked for despatch according to the picking processes
- Ensuring correct labelling of all orders for despatch
- Replenishing the warehouse as required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
- Ensuring all vehicles are loaded correctly and on time
- Ensuring adherance to Health & Safety regulations
- Locating products and rotating stock effectively

Skills and Experience
- Shift work and picking order experience advantageous
- Experience of working within food/chilled/frozen environment desirable

Your manager, David, has grown with Dunns for almost two decades whilst your director, Jamie, joined us in 2019, bringing a wealth of experience within the hospitality trade having worked with a variety of major drinks organisations. Both are passionate and committed to the development of the team and bringing great food and drinks products to Scotland.

ABOUT YOU

  • We are looking for self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic people
  • Sales experience in food or drinks is desirable but not essential. Maybe you are looking to step out from behind the bar or the serving hatch? You may be looking to reclaim a work/life balance. We are a 24/7 business but this isn’t a 24/7 role and could have hours to suit you.
  • You may have a relevant degree or alternatively have great trade/customer facing experience that will allow you to thrive but it’s essential that you enjoy dealing directly with people.
  • A solid understanding of the Scottish food and drinks market with a finger on the pulse of our best venues and scenes.
  • You must pride yourself on great customer service, relationships and delivering results with a ‘can do’ attitude.

  • Procurement experience in drinks is desirable but not essential. You may have a relevant degree or alternatively have great trade experience that will allow you to thrive.
  • Maybe you have built your knowledge behind the bar and would like to step out and work on the other side of the industry?
  • You must pride yourself on great customer service, relationships and delivering results with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Ability to manage and organise own workloads, whilst remaining a team player with outstanding communication skills across all levels of the business.
