Christmas is all about decadence and indulgence and, whilst enjoying the festivities, diners are much more likely to treat themselves to a dessert.

But creating homemade eye-catching cakes and desserts can be both challenging and time-consuming.  That’s why Country Range have done all the hard work by launching four fabulous new sweet treats in time for the festive season.

Chocolate sponge and juicy dark cherries are a match made in heaven in this retro-inspired take on a Black Forest Gateau.  Chocolate sponge is spread with fruit jam and stabilised whipped cream then sprinkled with dark cherries, before being rolled and covered with chocolate icing and snow dusting.  White chocolate shavings add a premium finishing touch.

For a real showstopper, caterers need to try our flavour-packed Toffee and Pecan Roulade.  Delectably fluffy, it has been lovingly created by spreading toffee filling and fresh cream on a meringue sheet before sprinkling with pecan pieces and rolled.
